  • MMF debt recovery

Looking to see if anyone could offer some advice on MMF. They have been passed my file from a payday loan company (worst decision ever to take one of these). The address i was regsitered at the time was my mum and dad's. This MMF have been threatening to make a door-step visit, they had contacted my parents house previously and been told i no longer live there. They had also left voicemails on my work telephone number a couple of times. Well they have now visited my parents house, they were told again on the door step i no longer live there to which he replied " i had been committing fraud as the payday loan was at that address" He also advised they would not stop contacting my parents house even though i dont live there. He also went on to say the next step would be for Sheriff Officers to contact the house.

I have not been in contact with them att all, any advice on this would be welcome.

If he comes back to your parents house they MUST inform the police. These cretins have no legal powers whatsoever and he has been told you no longer live there. Your parents have no obligation to tell him where you are now residing.
