    The OFT has refused to renew the credit licences of two debt management companies, and refused the new application of a third, as part of its ongoing enforcement work to drive up standards in the sector.

        Lancashire-based Welcome Solutions Limited and Manchester-based Debt Connect (UK) Limited had their renewal applications refused, while Cornwall-based trader, Rowena Koning, had her new application refused.

            Why don't they deal with Swift???? I guess taking on Barclays/Swift is a bigger issue with the likes of Rosling King fighting the opposition corner but it does rather make regulation a bit of a damp squib put there so that governments can blame the regulators for the wrongs taking place under their noses.

              Indeed - a VERY emotive subject. If there were enough charities out there, I'd suggest getting rid of all paid DMP companies, but the capacity is not there sadly.
