  • Parking Eye

    Hi all,

I recently received a parking eye charge notice. The letter explained that the camera had photographed me entering the Welcome Break services in Gretna Green at 8.20am and leaving at 14.58pm. The truth is that I entered at 8.20am left at 8.35am the stopped in again on my way home at 14.30pm leaving at 14.58.

I sent an appeal into them and got another letter saying I had no proof of this. Fact is I was in a customer business meeting in Sunderland during the day. I don;t want to drag my customer into this by asking them to vouch for me. I dont beleive I need to prove it anyway as I wasnt there.

I think I'm going to ignore the letters now, but am keen to hear if anyone hasany advice.

Charge was for £100 2 weeks before Christmas

    Re: Parking Eye

File it under I, unless this is for a company car.
You'll receive a whole bunch of increasing demands and threats, but they'll give up after a while.
