  • DVLA Bans Private Parking Firms from using DVLA's Database

Well about time - http://www.private-eye.co.uk/section...k=in_the_back& lolololol
Please note that this advice is given informally, without liability and without prejudice. Always seek the advice of an insured qualified professional. All my legal and nonlegal knowledge comes from either here (LB),my own personal research and experience and/or as the result of necessity as an Employer and Businessman.

By using my advice in any form, you agreed to waive all rights to hold myself or any persons representing myself of any liability.

If you PM me, make sure to include a link to your thread as I don't give out advice in private. All PMs that are sent in missuse (including but not limited to phishing, spam) of the PM application and/or PMs that are threatening or abusive will be reported to the Site Team and if necessary to the police and/or relevant Authority.

Why not ban the lot of them, along with bailiff companies who are BPA members, leaving only local authorities? It would probably save a lot of aggravation.

Good to see it being publicised. Have you read the new bit about PPC's in the bailiff section? It means that on the whole as a site we're advocating ignoring on the whole. Worth reading the link there though!

Just don't tell PPCs otherwise all the fun will be gone... Sorry for being flippant, it is amazing what they try (and do ) get away with!!!

I've had a very interesting exchange of letters with my local MP regarding Freedoms Bill (with a reply from a responsible Minister) regarding parking etc... Bulls**t overwhelmed my computer, wife banned my computer time in case I replied in the style they deserved. If you want, I can post exchange (obviously certain details removed).

Please do, Alham. I'm sure we would all be delighted to see what bovine excrement the shower of ****s who are currently in office are prepared to come out with to protect their benefactors.
