    Re: CCA & Consumer Redress

A welcome read. It would be good to see things come more towards the consumer for things which affect the most vulnerable.

Let's hope this is an indication of the direction that the FCA may follow. A bit less 'leeway' for the credit providers in their selling, and a bit more for the consumer, in seeking redress.

        Re: CCA & Consumer Redress

Section 140 had a bit of a shaky start in my opinion, there is quite a bit of case history available, and not much of it to the advantage of the consumer it must be said.
However it is worth persevering with it in my view.
It will be nice to see the end of the days when a lender has to search for flaws in an agreement in order to seek redress, it would be very nice indeed to be able to address the unfairness issues directly.
