  • Change of contract / change of hours

    Hello All,

    Bit confusing this one but i'll try to explain and hopefully get some help....

    I started with company X 11.5 years ago and was given a contract.

    The role was contracted out to company Y and I was TUPE'd across and kept my T&C's and contract.

    I have now been TUPE'd back to company X and they now wish for me to sign the new T&C's which are to my detriment for many reasons.

    My original contract was for 37 hours but I reduced my hours to 32.
    Now company X wants me to either work 30 or 36 hours and also work anytime between 8am and 11pm on any days.

    For the last 11 years I have worked 4 days per week, Mon to Thurs, 8am - 4.30pm.

    My main question is;

    Do the fact that i have worked the same hours and days for over 10 years now mean these are my contracted hours?

    Re: Change of contract / change of hours

    It does not matter how long you have worked for a company (unless its under 3 months), a major change of contract can be implemented if you have been given at least 1 months written notice of the change.
