  • Bailiff and council's parking penalty

Hello, one week ago my car was clamped very early in the morning and luckily I had a chance to speak to the guy who was clumping it. As he explained to me I have an unpaid parking ticket (april 2011) for council and I have to pay £750 to JBW Group Bailiffs Company. I was completely shocked.
Basically whats happened is that when I moved to my current address I didn’t change my address at DVLA; that is why I was not receiving any letter with the parking fine and any letter from bailiffs.
Later in the same day, after a quick conversation with the bailiff we have agreed that I will get my car back unclamped and pay the whole £750 in one month time.
Could anyone advise me what should I do in this case?
Many thanks for any help or advice.
