    UPDATE.
    Since the letter for a pre-hearing review, ACAS has been give details and has spoken to the claimant. She has decided to discontinue.
    Justice at last. My other half will drop the Preparation Time Order so we'll call it quits now.
    Thanks for your input on what some thought was a hiding to nothing initially.

    On reflection, I'm reasonably certain that the request for a Deposit Order then notification that I would be seeking the Preparation Time Order killed this from further action.
    It's certainly an action worth following in similar situations as it will put some portion of risk to the claimant where none could have been induced prior to this. Costs, for instance, are rarely awarded in these sort of cases so some monetary risk such as this is a useful deterrent against spurious claims.
