Santander faces £2m compensation bill for statement leaks

This is from the MSE email but the jist of it is that they will offer compensation for those affected. I suspect the more information of a confidential nature that you can argue to them, the higher the amount they will offer plus the stress as well.

You can then pay your huge compensation cheque into your account and the person who steals your identity can buy themselves a present with it!

Some days I do wonder why I bother posting anything of any value on this site without getting it locked and stickied beforehand.

Apologies leclerc - no offence intended. Just they've been saying they'd offer compensation since the day it happened. Common figure seems to be around £100ish.

They sent me a letter saying I should destroy the other persons statement they sent me, no mention of any compensation !!!

first post on this forum

I sent a SAR request to Satan's bank they put the wrong postcode on. Luckily it stayed at the sorting office, I requested another copy this one arrived and the first set.

Amongst my CCA, statements etc were several other peoples CCA's. I managed to get £50 from they they did take 6 months to complete a simple SAR. Their offer not mine.

As previously posted they are the most disorganised bunch on the planet MBN$ are gods by comparison and that's saying something. The worst part of it is that I now have 3 accounts with the monkeys none of which were taken out with Satan originally.
