  • 11 year old unknown Aktiv Capital debt

yester day i received a letter, from aktiv capital :tinysmile_hmm_t2: no idea who they are and moreover this particular letter was in a previous surname which i changed 11 years ago wheni re-married, my title is also wrong in this particular surname, seeing as i never use ms, but used mrs right up until i remarried.

ive no idea where this debt has come from and im wondering if its a scam. my current address has no connection whatsoever with my previous surname either. am i right to just ignore the letter and see what happens next :beagle:

Watchya Mrs R, I have moved your post to it's own thread for sanity.

Anyway, how to deal with these people.

As this is the first letter you have received on this, file it under Ignore.
As and when they can be bothered to write again, we'll do something then.

DCA's are well known for papering people with phishing attempts giving little or no information and the actual debt.

Whatever you do do NOT call these people or respond in anyway, yet.
