  • Universal Credit CCA

    Hope someone can answer this.

I CCA'd Paragin Finance for a loan i took out with Universal Credit years ago, and then got into problems and agreed to pay smaller amounts. In the meantime they have secretly been adding interest, which has almost doubled the original loan amount.

The CCA copy sent, looks ok except there is no signature from Universal Credit. that area is blank

Does this make the CCA unenforceable?

    Your help would be appreciated.

the failing to sign means the agreement is improperly executed, however, the court can enforce it as the missing signature of the lender is not causing you any prejudice at all.

Do you mean that the interest rate bears no relationship to that given on the agreement?

Otherwise, it's hardly going to be seen as "secret" by anyone.
