  • bailiffs could be on the way

I signed a lease for a property, it’s called ‘The law society business lease (part of the building) L.S.1 lease.

I now have an issue where the old landlord have transferred the entire building electricity bill (Eon) to my companies details even though we had to move out due to her breaking several covenants. Eon are using this lease to justify transferring the entire bill on to my company.

I did not take any legal advice when signing this ‘temporary’ lease, is this lease still valid, will it stand up in court?

Thanks for any help, it’s a stressful situation
