  • Success - Bradford & Bingley

    Hi All,

Just telephoned B&B because this morning had £25 charge taken.

I explained I was on a low income of JSA and that £25 is a large chunk to be taken.

At first, I was told I would have to write in, but I explained that if I was in hardship, the timescale would be too much. (Got my violin out !)

Tried my luck by quoting the social security act (even though it doesnt technically apply!!) and the hardship rule.

The lady wasn't awareof either, but went away to talk to the department responsible.
Two minutes later she came back I was told that it would be refunded within two days. .

    Well pleased.

Never thought I would say this, but,

      Thanks.

I think there are a couple that went unnoticed late last year.

It is my mission to get them too
