    I know this is a little old now. But you can ask the GP for a referral to an FNA clinic under the 2 week wait system to have a lump checked.

      I lost a younger brother through throat cancer and I lost my dad through bowel cancer.
      Cancer is not only a very a scary word, it's something that many people avoid discussing.
      But over the last ten years or so, we have become more aware of the disease, thanks to the media.
      In a lot of cases, cancer can be beaten, or at least held at bay.
      The earlier it is detected, the easier it is to treat.
      So if in doubt, check it out........
      As Del Boy says.... "You know it makes sense".
