  • working from home is it a scam?

    Hello beagles:beagle:

Hope everyone is well on this Friday afternoon.

I am just looking into working from home as i am trying to keep my expenses down re travelling etc

How can you check if a company advertising work from home is legit as i have been stung before eg jobs for drivers they wanted me to get a crb check and i foolishly sent £45 paid online to the company they suggested after this was done i neither heard from them or received a copy of the crb check and neither did i get any work from them either. ( i am looking into this as i believe other people have been caught out with this company as well)
dont know if anyone knows about this company or had any experience with them?

That is why i am now asking as i have looked up this job online but i am very skeptical as they want £30 to register i think this is a con but is there any way of checking this out?

The company is called top-star mailing i have checked them out on companies house website but that is all.

any advice info please would be appreciated!!!

      Hello Enaid

thanks me thinks it is a scam and i will not be sending any money to them as it says on the link that they ask for a fee upfront and this is not right at all. Surely this sort of thing is illegal i may report them to trading standards.
