  • Norton Annual Subscription fee

    Hi all,

Haven't been on-line for a few weeks the last time I was I had an on-screen message from Norton saying I had 28 days left on my subscription did I want to re-new now or remind me later? So I clicked on remind me later, this was for 3 reasons: 1. Quite frankly I couldn't afford it, 2. I wanted to wait until it experied I didn't want them having money from me sooner than need be , 3. I wanted to shop around.

This morning whilst checking my bank account I noticed that Norton has debited a annual subscription fee for £50.82, it is showing as a card payment, on 1/9/2008. I obviously used my card last year when I renewed, but do they have the right to keep those card details, and re-new my subscription without my permission?

Any advice greatly received, thank you!

    Re: Norton Annual Subscription fee

seems you have to have ticked the autorenewal box when you signed up originally

    My subscription was automatically renewed

This happens if the Automatic Renewal feature is enabled. Automatic Renewal is featured as Norton’s On-going Protection, designed to make sure you are always protected from the latest threats. Please click the link below to watch a tutorial about Automatic Renewal.
