Re: wheel clamping it is legal?

i dont know how to thank you.

if you guys were not here i really dont know what i would do.

i have paid out so much in bank charges this mnth i cant even afford to eat let alone pay a £447 fine.

i will speak to them tomorrow get a copy of the warrant am i entitled to do that blimey i feel like i cant even breath without asking someone if it legal and then go from there? could i phone the police for a copy of the warrant as i could obtain this quicker as i could go into police station which is not far from me. maybe they would be able to tell me if it is a civil enforcement or not?

will this hold them off if i am contesting it?

A statutory declaration would turn back the clock to get them to serve the PCN on you again, you could then pay the ticket at the original price or appeal. You would have time, and the baliffs couldn't distrain (take) your goods.

I'm not too familiar of the process for filing a statutory declaration, and would recommend posting on http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=30 since it has specialist parking people who could help you with the process.

Basically, not to panic, but I really would recommend moving your car.

EDIT: Caling the police woman up would be a great idea, too

I think this is almost certainly a civil enforcement scenario.

If you have entered a debt spiral where your bank charges are swallowing your income each month, it may well be worth considering moving to new bank. Set all your DDs etc up and get your wages paid into the new account. You can then calculate the charges on your old account and start the process of recovering them and dealing with any overdraft you inevitably will have incurred.

Just a thought in amongst all the other issues you are dealing with. Good luck.
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )
