Re: Changes to Barclaycard conditions from 1st October 2008

Smile have sent out notification of their changes today too

This is all due to commencement 2 of the 2006 amendments to the CCA which were postponed from being implemented in April to 1st October.

Interesting to see they have made the same changes to the Default Fee interest charging process as the others we mentioned elsewhere. Also a bit odd they have gone to the trouble of telling you what SIMPLE interest means but dont actual mention it in the terms and conditions ? so it is simple interest or not ? (or have i gone nuts again?)

Yep have gone nuts its on the next fold.

So Simple interest only on default charges, put off for 28 days, and paid off first of the balance..... wonder why they are doing that...not.
