Hello all,
I am taking a second hand car dealership to court as I rejected the vehicle I purchased. My final hearing is scheduled in a months time in the small claims track and I have a question regarding costs I can claim back.
I understand, as a LiP, I can claim costs under CPR 46.5 (or under Litigants in Person (Costs and Expenses) Act 1975 - I'm not sure which one to cite) at a rate of £19 per hour as I cannot prove actual loss.
I am not sure how to go about drafting a document of the costs and how to file this/when to file it.
Any help is appreciated!

- Can I claim for the amount of time on the phone to Citizens Advice (with phone records as proof)?
- Can I claim for postage costs? (That is, Rejection letter, Letter Before Action, etc)
- Can I claim for the time spent writing letters and generally preparing for the case?
- Can I claim for the parking ticket to attend the hearing?
- How to I draft the letter outlining these costs?
Any help is appreciated!
