  • DRP parking letter

    Hi

I forget to pay for a car park ticket from smart parking. After being issued with a fine I just paid it to get them off my back however it was a couple of days late. They are now threatening court action as I am refusing to pay £100 late fee issued by DRP. Please advise, can they do this?

    Re: DRP parking letter

    Hi & welcome to LB.
DRP are 3rd party debt collectors who cannot themselves enforce anything at all.
    File & ignore.
If you get a letter before action from the parking co (or their legal rep), or a county court claim, you must respond to them.
