  • How to dispute virgin media debt

I have tried getting virgin media installed again in my property. When I first applied it was denied as I owed them money on my last bill from them. Which is fine, so I paid that off and was told to apply for services again. But now it turns out there is an apparent debt ata previous address, now the address in question i did have services from virgin media but I left the propertyand took virgin with me. According to them it stayed active in the property for a couple of months after I left which happened to gather up some debt. Now what I want to know is how to contest this as I can prove I left the address and they would also have proof themselves because I had an account at new address. This was years ago this debt is for so I am rather confused about what to do as I need virgin media as that is the only fibre broadbandi can get in my area and my current ISP is incredibly slow.

    Good morning,

Have you raised a written Formal Complaint with Virgin? If not then do so and send by signed for post.
