Re: Civil Enforcement County Court Claim Form

    Hi Pipsy

Have you sent a copy of your DQ to CEL?
If not, do so & get proof of posting. (A free certificate of posting from the post Office will be ok.)

Re: Civil Enforcement County Court Claim Form

Quick recap on this last bit.
You received a DQ (form N180) from the court.
You've completed & returned it to the court.
You have (or will) send a copy of it to the Claimant.
You have sent a SAR (request for info re data searches) to the DVLA.

              Is that all correct?

Re: Civil Enforcement County Court Claim Form

                  Good.

Usually the next steps are a notice of allocation from the court, allocating the claim to Small Claims Track & giving directions on swapping evidence with the Claimant. We would suggest that you do a Witness Statement (basically just a timeline of events).
                  Example WS.... http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...ness-Statement
You may also be contacted by Small Claims Mediation Service, even though this type of case isn't usually suitable for mediation.

Hello, I have now received a notice of proposed allocation to the small claims track featuring a directions questionnaire (FORM N180). I do not know what to do and how to fill it in successfully. I will be very thankful for any guidance provided. Thank you.

                            Quite simple really.

                            Choose Small Claims Track.
Choose your local county court (or one nearby that's convenient).
As for mediation, personally I would say yes, as courts like to see a willingness to settle outside of court. It is unlikely that it is a suitable kind of case, but I have seen some instances where a compromise was reached.
                            The rest is self explanatory.
Return it to court within the stated deadline, send a copy to CEL & get proof of posting.
