  • Motormile finance Country Court Claim - QuickQuid

I have recently received a claim form by the county court that Moriarty Law is claiming £679.24 inc court fees for a payday loan from QuickQuid from 2013. I was only 18 at the time, on an apprenticeship which paid hardly anything, and I had no one else to look after me so had to pay for food etc myself, which took all my wages. I took out around 3/4 loans with QuickQuid which amounted to around £500. But I'm not sure why they let me take out more than one loan as I was clearly struggling. I'm currently a student at university and I just don't have £679 to spare. To avoid getting a CCJ is there any defence that I have? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

First you need to Acknowledge Service with your intention to defend in full.

It's not strange for folks to have been miss sold Payday loans. @Debt Camel is the person to ask....this will give her a 'nudge'

Meantime, have a read of Debt Camel's advice regarding claiming back on these loans
