  • Wright Hassall formal letter of claim-Helppp

    Hi,

firstly apologies if this has has been covered before, but I am new to this.

My daughter parked my car in a university car park, for which she displayed a disabled parking badge. Now the badge may have become displaced or for whatever reason she received a PCN. She was advised by friends to ignore this and now I have started to receive letters from Wright Hassall. The initial letter was one that said they have been instructed by ZZPS who are acting on behalf of the university etc and today received a formal letter of claim.

Any guidance on what hat to do will be appreciated.

    i have attached both letters.

Have you got copies of the original parking tickets that were sent or attached to the windscreen.

ZZPS are normally debt collectors and cannot instruct solicitors about a debt they do not own.

hi, no unfortunately I do not. Yeah that's what I was told by someone else as well. So should I just ignore the letter? Can they start court proceedings without informing me after this letter? Having called the number on the letter for Wright Hassall it automatically diverts the call to ZZPS payment automated line.
