  • Need advice re possible PPI charges and about a paid bank account

    Hello there

I've looked through the paperwork re a career development loan l had through the Co-op bank, back in 2007 but l cannot work out if PPI is on it or not. Separately from that l had a Privilege Account from the Co-op Bank around the same time. I made monthly payments on the account to have that particular account. I believe l was told at the time it was the only way to secure an overdraft.

Luckily l still have all the paper work for the CDL and the official co-op bumf for the Privilege Account. There was free travel insurance with the account which l never used.

I need someone to take a look at the documentation l have. Could you suggest anyone? I don't really want to use any of the PPI companies that advertise online and l'd rather see some one in person as don't feel that comfortable sending private financial information over the net.

    I live in Norfolk.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Many thanks

    Carrington

I think the first step is to simply ask them yourself if PPI was attached to the CDL.

Their PPI contact information is at the bottom here http://www.co-operativebank.co.uk/lo...ent-protection

Thanks for that. I'm kind of looking to ask someone outwith the bank at this stage for safety reasons. Due to the nature of the accounts the bank would have to inform a violent ex partner if l seek information. This would put me at risk.

Can you advise re the Privileged Account issue?

No worries if you can't advise okay.

      Many thanks
