  • Mis sold Mortgage

    Hello .
don't know if this in the correct place .

I am going through the process of claiming for a miss sold mortgage
we have a interest only mortgage ,and were told we could claim money back for it being miss sold

have received paperwork from ( Pure legal Limited ) who are dealing with the case

but I am very confused about the paperwork ,and the insurance I have to take out

this is a no win no fee claim ,

but I don't know if the paperwork is misleading ,and I could end up paying out more for this than I might even receive .

if I upload the front and back of the paperwork that was posted to me could someone look at it for me ?

to confirm if its all ok ,and I am not going to get scammed .

    Re: Mis sold Mortgage

I suggest ditching the claims sharks and doing it yourself.

Either the Claims Company is going to just repeat what you tell them (in which case why pay them?) or they will be trying to turn this into a standard complaint which is pretty unlikely to succeed.

      ROGER LOVELL,

Found your post re mortgage mis selling claim today. I too have paperwork from Legal assist and queried the insurance thing. Been advised it is "after the event insurance" and I would not be liable to pay for it, even if case fails.

I also have not been able to find any evidence of successful cases yet either!
I haven't signed anything yet anyway and am suspicious. If there were any chance of success then it would be in public domain like PPI was>

I would be interested to hear if you have any update?

      Regards Lin Far

        Hi,

I have read the other reviews especially from Roger, as I was wondering what happened with your case for mis sold mortgage in the end. We are currently in the same situation at the moment and being asked to sign the disbursement paperwork but are very concerned as to whether we are doing the right thing or not. I would be very interested in hearing from you.

it is normal for companies to ask clients to pay disbursements, such as court fees and barristers charges, however whoever is dealing with your case should explain in plain english what youre liable for, what you will have to pay if you win, what you will pay if you lose. If they dont give you this information then you may want to consider whether youre using the right firm.
