Debt Collector at door

I had a debt collector at my door trying to enforce a debt that is 7 years old.i didn't answer.
I have had no contact in the 7 years with regards to the debt and on my credit file it says partially paid which I have not paid and no one I know has paid?
Any help appreciated.

who are you talking about the debt collector? give more info regarding the debt and last payment/acknowledgement, very vague statement above

Have you got a ccj for this debt [MENTION=105621]Sithlord1[/MENTION] ?? Has it been to court ?? Or just passed to a DCA ??
Who does it say is the 'owner' of the debt ?
