  • TV licence

Hello. Can anyone tell me if I am liable for a TV licence exemption as I don't watch live TV neither do I have the ability to watch or Record any programme. I have an Amazon stick and I do not have the BBC application installed. Thanks Rob

    This may help: http://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/check-i...-devices-TOP14
There is an FAQ about amazon etc and also a link if you believe you do not need a licence to let TV Licensing know.
From personal experience knowing how they behaved over students in halls of residence using their laptops and their insistence they all have licences irrespective of the fact they aren't accessing live shows etc, I suspect there would be difficulties proving that you never access any of the relevant programmes they say you need a licence for.
Hopefully there is someone on the forum who can give you a more definitive answer than this.
