  • Do I send an SAR?

    Hi guys;
    will try to be straight to the point and give you my background info -
    had 3 debts, all shop direct.
    2 are sold to Lowell, 1 I haven't had any letters for.
    1 was stayed and 1 is still lingering with Lowell.
    The stayed claim is recent (this year) but I've not heard from Lowell regarding the other one since last year.
    Do I send shop direct an SAR request regarding this? Will Lowell know I've done this also if I do?
    dont want to leave this one incase I get a court application like the last time - would rather be a little more ahead just incase.
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    There is no reason for ShopDirect to inform Lowell of your SAR request and it might get you ahead in terms of sorting out the 2 debts you haven't got court papers for yet, and also enable you to get a bit more information about the claim that is in court and stayed, so I think it's a good idea.

      Is there anything specific I'd need mention or can I just use a general template for the SAR?
