  • Tolata - mediation via land registry

2010 rented house then landlord gave us the rent back as a contribution towards the deposit. (£6230) I released 5k from my house (my contribution although his solicitor says it's a joint contribution as the house was remortgaged then into joint names) parents lent us an interest free 5k. We both then saved into his account as lived apart and I was in receipt of windows benefit. Agreement was he paid the mortgage and I paid the bills, food, childcare and day to day expenditure.
He is now trying to say his share should be 65% as he contributed more and that the money was from his sole account. I had asked for a joint account to be set up but it always turned into an argument so I gave up in the end. His yearly outgoings decreased but mine increased year on year. There is also a rental property which was my marital home which was rented from 2010-may 2017. Rental income went into his account and mortgage was paid from his account. Since we separated in 2014 he has withheld my share of rental profit and walked away with over 7k of our savings. I have numerous texts advising me half of the savings is mine. He paid the mortgage out of this until I took it over. He tried to get me to sign a promissory note he had copied off the internet for the sum of 20k but it was worded that he had lent me that amount, no mention of property and it stated I had 365 days to pay in full. My friend who is an accountant and who was going to witness it advised me not to sign it. He went against a solicitors advice and was removed from the deeds. He is now trying to place a restriction on the property. I have an 11yr old daughter. He has a contact order (took me to court 3 times costing me 8k) on place as is classed as a psychological parent but as not biological does not have to support her financially so he doesn't.
I just need advice for mediation. I've been collating bank statements, texts, mortgage statements etc. I had previously tried to force the sale of the rental property. I want no financial ties with him and want me and my daughter to move on with our lives.
Any help would be most appreciated.
