Can a employer check into my bank account

Hi All,

I need your help pleaseeee.

I work for a bank and I went in today and I was called upstairs as they wanted to investigate me.

They looked into my bank account that I hold with them.

Is this allowed???

I was shocked that they were asking me what money I have coming in and out of my account?

So the question is the bank allowed to look into my personal account without my say so when I work for them???:0:0
