Hello, I'm new to the forum but really need some specific advice. I purchased a vehicle in Feb 14 on a HP agreement. I have attempted to VT this agreement in writing however the company has refused saying they already terminated the agreement in Nov 14 due to a missed payment for which a default notice was issued. At the time I did not receive any default notices or a notice of termination. I kept the vehicle and continued to make payments, the agreement is now fully up to date and no longer in arrears. In the letter I received back from the company (Marsh Finance) they have included a copy of the notice of termination which they claim to have sent to me in 2014 however the address on that letter is incorrect so I would never have received this or the default notices. Also worth mentioning the original agreement and terms and conditions do not state I would lose the right to VT if a payment was missed or default issued.

Can anybody give me any advice on this?

Is the correct address on the agreement?

No the address on the agreement is also incorrect. I'm not quite sure how that happened as I did give them the correct address and the V5 was delivered to the right one no issues.
