Please can someone help me, I have had a clamp put in the car yesterday morning, the Bailiff stated this is a warrant from the court, but we have found out that it is not so. I need my car for work as I work at 12.30am until 4am on the underground different stations different nights. Also my car is on lease, they refuse to remove the clamp. Any help would be appreciated

Re: Car Clamped by bailiffs
what is their reason for putting on the clamp? if you take the car off the clamp there is little they can do. if you take the clamp off the car you may damage it, which is criminal damage. To remove the car from the clamp you either have to undo the front strut (two bolts) or drop off the bottom ball joint, to allow the chain to fall free, the clamp then falls off. you must then phone them and tell them to come and get the clamp before someone else does
