  • Experto Credite in trouble!

I work for a government department. I won't mention which one but you will probably be able to guess. I have been harassed by this company on a daily basis chasing a debt I owe from many years ago. I have struggled to stay on a payment plan to avoid them taking matters further but today I am fuming to find out that they are not paying their own bills. They haven't paid this department for months despite us chasing and trust me, when a company stops paying us then things must be really bad. Normally its a the sign of a company about to go under.

I don't want to lose any money I give them as I can barely afford to pay the monthly installment. Knowing what I know should I stop paying them? I am contemplating contacting the original company that gave me the loan (Natwest) to seek advice but in theory the information I have is confidential.

The irony of the matter is that Experto make peoples lives a misery chasing debts yet they can't to pay their own.

I suggest others that are currently paying them are really careful and vigilant in case they lose money when they go t*ts up.

How is your credit file ? Does this debt show on there at all ? Would stopping paying worsen your credit file at all ? How much is it approx ? - this was originally a Natwest Loan - from what year abouts?

How long have you been paying this company for and do your payments seem to be making any impact on the debt ?

If you are still being harrassed besides making payments then you need to take some kind of action to get things sorted out.

I would firstly send a letter to Experto asking for copies of the original credit agreement ( CCA Request )

Is the debt owned by Experto or are they doing the debt collection for someone else like Varde Investments etc ?

( however... don't stop paying simply because you have a little bit of inside knowledge on their finances as you could be in bigger poop for that - but it seems their position is giving you a nudge to take a look at this debt properly and see what you can do)

got a mate that works for these cowboys. they got told that they wont get paid wages. anyone paying a varde, mbna, natwest or Intrum Justitia debt should check with the creditor that the money is going into their account.
