  • Watchdog for Lowell and associates

Hi im intending to contact Watchdog about the dodgy rogue activities with Lowell and their many alias or associate links.

Im needing support with genuine cases that do not owe their 'bought debts'

They call themselves a debt specialist which is not exactly debt collectors.

My case is they withdrew from their claim on me as i had a zero balance document from Orange but i counter-claimed and the judge told Lowell to conduct their business in a more appropriate manner

It is wrong they can adjust your credit rating and refuse to remove mine yet now they have started up asking for this fictitious debt through another company from BOP.

Any support to climb aboard to expose these harassing mob will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Watchdog for Lowell and associates

Let's be clear the Lowell Group is a Debt Purchaser and uses both in house and 3rd party collection companies to manage/collect debts.
The " right" to report purchased debts stem from the legal assignment of an account with the rights and obligations of the original agreement or in your case the " service contract".
Have you asked the advice of the Information Commissioners Office which regulates among other things the use/application of default details on credit reference files.

Reading your case it is clear to me that Lowell Did Not Place the Default on the Account, all a debt purchaser can do is update the original creditors entry with its details, the default date and sum outstanding must remain the same.
To challenge the default entry on your credit files you need to make a Formal Complaint to the Data Controller at the Original Creditors HO address.

Which company is now chasing the alleged debt?
