  • snowballing charges for six years.....help!

I have an account with santander opened in 2008, which only my daughters child maintenance goes into.i use it for some bills/school uniform/food etc.a couple of times iv overdrawn (unarranged) by no more than a few pounds.
(I have a diagnosed mental health condition which affects my memory and judgement of finances)
    Since then the snowballing began.
I get only £135 a month paid in. And charges piled on charges piled on charges amounting between £35 and £60 a month. Iv suffered hardship due to the snowballing and its exasperated the hardship and my mental health has worsened due to the stress.
I recieved an annual charges statement ( which id never recieved before) between 1/8/2013 and 1/1/2015 totalling £585 (that's just within 16months) iv snowballed since 2008.
Also a letter from a director acknowledging my finances are a mess by highlighting id
"Been charged over £450 since January 2014."
I want to point out iv not sat on this for six years.
I regularly call the bank asking them to stop the snowballing.
they went as far as to offer a partial refund (for one month) then state the charges will stop.im non the wise to find they havnt stopped and its an endless cycle.
santander also gave me (knowing I was hard up financially) a temporary £100 overdraft, when all I wanted was a refund.they added to my debt.
im lost and so angry. Can someone please help me?

OK are they aware of your mental health issues?
When they say the charges would stop, have they dealt with the existing charges already in the system to go out(which could cause the repetition to continue)?

Update: if spoke to them again, they referred my case to the financial support team.
The call agent was really nice and admitted my account hasn't been dealt with properly.
I should from them this afternoon or tomorrow morning, hopefully with a decent resolution.
Iv made it clear I will take it all the way if not resolved reasonably.
