  • Help needed with net intrest

    Hi.
I have recently claimed for my package bank fees on an Advantage Gold account with Natwest.
They initially refunded me a partial payment which triggered me to escelate the matter with the CEO of RBS group RossMcEwan.
I have now received a full refund for all charges totaling £1539.03 and net intrest of £430.13
In my claim I had included no proofs or the value of the charges I simply asked for all the charges and intrest to be refunded and got them to do all the work to calculate the said charges etc.
If some one could help to check they have given the correct net intrest as it seems low me? The charges seem fine I have done a rough calculation on this but I am lost with how to roughly calculate the intrest...I have had the account since June 2004 so 114 months of charges.I worked put an average charge per month by dividing 1539 by 114 so average monthly charge is £13.50 which is roughly correct. Now I have no idea with the net intrest and if they have calculated it properly(seems they may have but have not explained how they have worked it out) If someone could please check to see they have done this properly would be much appreciated.
Also any one wanting anymore information please ask or if anyone needs assistance on how I progressed my claim...Thanks and sorry for any type errors have not proof read...
