Hi all,
I received a letter in the post today advising that I owe money to Orange for an old contract, I took out a contract in 2012 with Car phone warehouse. Thankfully this was over in Oct 2014 as they were charging me stupid amounts of money, so I settled my final bill off £105.
I woke up this morning advising me that I owe £422.97 (include DCA fees) so I first rung Orange to find out why this was happening, they made me aware as I never officially asked them to terminate the contract that this would not be done and they just rolled it over until they finally cut it off in December.
I then asked the gentlemen why they decided at no point would they contact me to let me know that this contract has been going on although I settled my final bill (I assume they catch a lot of people out this way) He said it was my reasonability.
I just wonder where I stand as I thought a 2 year contract was over and that my bill was settled to now find out it isn't and I still owe money, can anyone please help.
