  • Capquest, I am not in debt and the person they want is somebody I don't know

Hope someone can point me in the right direction please.

I have had for the past week numerous messages per day (up to 10) left on my home phone (ex dir) saying to contact them urgently. I then started to receive messages on my mobile from the same people.

I phoned them and I told them they have the wrong person, then lo and behold I get another call.

Could someone tell me what I do next please ??
Thankful that there are places like this people can turn to

When you called them, did they say what it was in connection with and did they mention your name and address?

If you're convinced they are contacting you without good reason you can ask them not to call again or you'll report them for harassment and Misuse of the Telecommunications Act.

If you they are annoying you by calling and sms againa and again then you should ask them first politely that you are not the right person who owes the money so stop calling me. If they don't stop then you can contact to the attorney and send them cease and desist letter.
