    Hello,

I want to know what is the birth date of an executed agreement. Is it the date the agreement was signed by both parties?

    Thanks

if the agreement is cancellable the creditor has to date his signature, this would be the date the agreement became executed, this does not apply to un-cancellable agreements.

      The contemporaneous notes stated:
      12/04/2012 *11 Birth date changed from *****
12/04/2012 *02 Loan insurance changed from **** to yes
The asterisks denote deleted information. Surely, if the birthdate of the agreement was 12/04/2012 and it changed from an earlier date: the agreement existed prior to the 12/04/2012.

Furthermore, if the option to accept the loan insurance changed from no to yes: on the 12/04/2012 the account holder had opted for the insurance, and at an earlier date, the account holder had refused the option - this also means the agreement existed prior to the 12/04/2012.

Wow Andy I didn't know that. Thank you

I enter into many tenancy agreements/contracts (which are not cancellable) where I have always added a date next to my and the tenant's signature. Some agenst require this and some don't.

Let's keep this conversation going because it may be relevant in the event of a Landlord wanting to repossess a property. When it gets to court the validity of the tenancy agreement is paramount.
