    Received a claim? Yes
    Issue Date: 29-11-2017
    Amount approx: 965
    Claimant: Lowell portfolio
    Solicitor: Lowell solicitor
    Original Credit: Littlewoods

    Particulars of Claim:
Hi I received a letter from county court business centre on the 29/11/17 claiming I owe money a account with littlewoods which was opened on 05/04/2002. The agreement was later assigned to Lowell on the 02/03/2012. I have sent the letter back to the court with a statuette barred. As I did originally live at the property when the letter has been sent to but did move out in 1999 and moved back to the property in March 2012. I have had no contact with Lowell. I got married in 2011 so my name changed. I have now received a letter from the small claims court asking would I like mediation. Could you please advise. Thanks

    Stat Barred? Yes

    Have sent: Acknowledged the Claim

    Other Info:
My parents owned the property and any mail that came to the property they would have gave me. I have had no contact will Lowell.

What did you send back to the court when you said the debt was statute barred ?

Did you have a Littlewoods account from 2002 (maybe from another address and they have traced you to your parents address?) or do you just not recognise the account at all ? Does anything show on your credit file regarding this ?
