        Re: MMF

Was the alleged debt to a payday lender?

Have MMF just contacted you about this debt or have they sent you a letter before court action or do you have a Claim Form from the court?

There is a lot of stuff on the internet about how horrid some debt collector is - whether that is true or not, what matters to you is the actual facts of your situation and finding out what you can do about it. If I was to write "MMF can be very difficult" that wouldn't actually help you at all.

          Re: MMF

Right ok, thanks for the replies,

basically i recieved a county court claim from Moriarty Law who are the solicitirs representing MMF,

I have sent CCA request toMMF and CPR request to solicitor.

solicitor has replied stating they have recieved request and passed on to client so i should wait for a response and my claim is on hold.

MMF returned my postal order and stated that Moriarty law have already requested CCA so i should wait to hear from them.

im not sure what they mean by my claim is on hold and im not sure what my next step is if any before submitting my defense..

please let me know if you require anymore information

          thanks

              Re: MMF

If you have a county court claim, and have asked for information ( CCA / CPR requests? ) then you must still put your defence in to the court on time ( within 33 days of the date of issue on the claim form ) or you risk gettinga default judgment - - did you acknowledge the claim when you received it ?

                Re: MMF

I just want to double check

You call it mmf so motor money finance but many of us think of mmf as motor mile finance

can you just clarify which it is

                - - - Updated - - -

Could you also say what the debt is about as this is important in the way you deal with it.
