  • Lowell and fredricksons

Hi im having a bit of trouble with lowell and fredricksons im 21 and allegedley i took out a contract when i was 18 with 02, lowell contacted me about a year ago saying i owe nearly £500 ive been trying to ask them for a original credit agreement or some sort of proof of debt and they tell me they dont need to show me this i have tried saying well the bills of exchange act 1882 section 23 says signature is essential for liability and they have to show me under the consumer credit act sections 77,78 & 79, i have said i recall signing such document but feel like im getting nowhere with them, fredricksons is another story. Ive been reading loads on this sort of thing but im practically just winging it! Also fredrickson 'international' have contacted me saying i owe vodaphone £900 i said the exact same things to them and also said you shouldnt be using 2 debt collector companys at the same time to try and get payment because fredricksons is part of lowell, i got a letter yesturday stating that my case had been given back to vodaphone and they have nothing more to do with me, so im quite confused is what im saying to them right? Doss the consumer credit act cover mobile contracts?
